I’m Catherine Rotman, and I’m a realist-inspired artist. The biggest source of my inspiration is the raw, untamed earth and the elements, colors, and textures of nature, along with my love for animals. I currently reside on the East Coast of the U.S. but grew up on the West Coast, so I have appreciated a variety of landscapes throughout the country that present their own unique beauty.

I’ve been coloring and drawing as early as I can remember, but didn’t actively start painting until a few years ago, and just began experimenting with oil paint in the later part of 2019. The gallery here includes a mix of acrylic, watercolor and oil paintings.

Animal welfare is a cause that mean a lot to me, so I am committed to dedicating 10% of every art sale towards no-kill shelters in areas local to me including All4Paws in Pawleys Island, SC and the Animal Welfare Society of New Milford, CT.
